The City of Port Orchard Planning and Building Department strives to provide excellent customer service and to assist our customers throughout the land use and building permit processes. Often the Department is required to administer Federal, State, and local regulations regarding the built and natural environment. It endeavors to do so in a positive, professional and helpful manner. The Department is dedicated to helping the citizens of Port Orchard in achieving their goals through offering assistance , technical expertise, and by providing various alternatives to help their projects move forward, while meeting State and local regulations. The City's Planning and Building Department has adopted seven principles of good customer service, as listed below: - PREDICTABILITY
