How do I apply?
The program requires you to complete a City of Port Orchard Low Flow Toilet Rebate Form. Forms are available at City Hall or online at www.cityofportorchard.us/toilet. An Affidavit of Installation is included on the form. You must attach the low flow toilet sale slip or plumbers invoice to the application form. Applications may be dropped off or mailed to City Hall.

The program is available for property located in the City of Port Orchard.

How many rebates am I entitled too?
The program is ongoing and rebates are available for each replacement toilet that meets the program requirements.

How do I know the toilet I am replacing qualifies?
A toilet using 7, 5, or 3.5 gallon/flush qualifies for replacement and rebate.

How long does it take to get my rebate?
Applications are promptly reviewed for approval. Rebate checks are issued as part of the City’s normal claim process, which takes place every two weeks.

What do I do with my old toilet?
Your old toilet should be disposed of at the Kitsap County landfill.

Can I just replace part of my old toilet and be eligible for the rebate?
No – rebates are only available if the entire toilet is replaced.

Am I still eligible if a plumber supplied and instated the new toilet(s)?
Yes – as long as you submit an official contractor’s invoice.

Can I get a rebate for toilets I installed in earlier years?
No.  The Rebate program is not valid for years prior to 2009.
