Judge Tarry S. Decker
Tarrell (Tarry) S. Decker has served as the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Port Orchard since January 1, 2000. On December 8th, 2009, Judge Decker was reappointed by the City Council to serve her fourth term – January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2013.
Judge Decker remains committed to a strong justice system based on public awareness and prevention in order to ensure a safe community for all citizens.
She is a participating member of several local committees including the Kitsap County Trial Court Coordinating Committee, Kitsap County Criminal Practice and Procedures Committee, and the Port Orchard Law and Justice Committee. She has also served as a Law Day speaker at local schools.
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Port Orchard Municipal Court is to establish and maintain public trust and confidence in the Court by ensuring independence, accessibility, accountability, and fairness for all citizens.
