Chimes and Lights Committee

Festival of Chimes and Lights and Downtown Tree Decorating Contest

COVID 2020 has presented some challenges when it comes to city events, mainly because they are potentially unsafe and currently not allowed.
That said, we have decided to show you and our neighbors a little kindness in the midst of this time, and encourage you to pass it on.  Let’s see how far we can go!

The City of Port Orchard, along with the Port of Bremerton and the many businesses that support our festival have plans to put up holiday displays to brighten everyone’s Christmas!  We will still put up the town Christmas tree and light it on the 5th of December but we will not be seeing Santa or the SKHS Marching Band, nor the many other amazing groups that made the festival merry and bright.

We will be playing music from the clock tower and we will have the Christmas Tree Decorating Contest in the planters on Bay Street. (We have several left if you care to sponsor one.)

Visit our Festival of Chimes and Lights page for more information.
