Planning Commission Public Hearing – Final Draft of the Downtown Subarea Plan

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm, the Port Orchard Planning Commission will hold a public hearing by Zoom teleconference on the Final Draft of the Downtown Subarea Plan. The Plan will provide long-range goals and policies to form a framework for downtown redevelopment, as well as specific goals and policies for land use, environmental protection, and transportation. An environmental impact statement was prepared that evaluated potential impacts and mitigation measures for two land use alternatives that included policy changes and land use/zoning changes, as well as a no-action alternative.

Any person or public agency expressing an interest is invited to participate in the public hearing, and/or submit written comments to the Department of Community Development at planning@portorchardwa.gov until 4:00 PM, May 4, 2021.
