Site Description: Location: 2000 SE Sedgwick Rd, Port Orchard WA 98366, Nearest road intersection: Bethel Road SE and SE Sedgwick Road, Size: Site is 8.28 acres, Zoning District: Commercial Mixed Use (CMU)

Project Permits included with Application:            Administrative Variance (Type II) for reduction of off-street parking, SEPA, Land Disturbing Activity Permit, Stormwater Drainage Permit, Building Permit and Capacity Reservation Certificate

Description of Proposed Project: Request to deviate from minimum required off-street parking related to the construction of five multi-family apartment buildings consisting of 136 dwelling units. The variance would eliminate the required supplemental off-street parking where on-street parking is absent. The proposal provides 208 off-street parking stalls which meets the minimum required by POMC 20.124.140; however, the variance would eliminate the need to provide an additional 34 stalls on-site where on-street parking is absent.

State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Determination: The SEPA Official for the City of Port Orchard has not issued a SEPA Determination for the project at this time.

Other Applicable Codes Which May Require Additional Project Review / Permits:  Port Orchard Municipal Code Title 20 and Building Codes.

Public Comment Period: Any interested person may comment on this application. The comment period will remain open for 14 days. The deadline to submit comments is April 3, 2020. Any interested person may request notification of any hearings or meetings and request a copy of the decision once made.
