Site Description: Location: 416-428 Mitchell Avenue, Port Orchard WA 98366, Nearest road intersection: Mitchell Avenue and Dwight Street, Size: Site is 0.19 acre (8,276.4 sq. ft.), Zoning District: Residential 3 (R3)

Project Permits included with Application: Administrative Variance (Type I) for reduced setback, Land Disturbing Activity Permit, Stormwater Drainage Permit, Building Permit and Capacity Reservation Certificate.

Description of Proposed Project: The development of a fourplex located at 416-428 Mitchell Avenue consisting of four residential units, landscaping and required off-street parking. The applicant seeks approval of a Type I Variance to allow a reduction of one-foot from the required 10-foot front and side-street yard setback. The resultant building would be located nine feet from the easterly and southerly property lines.

State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Determination: This action is categorically exempt from a SEPA Determination.

Public Comment Period: Any interested person may comment on this application. The comment period will remain open for 14 days. The deadline to submit comments is April 3, 2020.
