DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE (DNS) FOR RIVERSTONE PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION (LU20-PLAT PRELIM-01)
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The preliminary subdivision of approximately 7.65 acres into 39 residential lots to accommodate detached houses. The project includes street frontage improvements to Harold Drive SE, public internal roadways, on-site recreation space and drainage facilities. The preliminary subdivision proposes full access via Harold Drive SE and limited access via SE Lund Ave by a right-in/right-out intersection. The site is designated Medium Density Residential in the City of Port Orchard Comprehensive Plan and designated Residential 2 (R2) and Residential 3 (R3) on the City of Port Orchard Zoning Map.

LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: Unaddressed, generally located northwest of the intersection of SE Casandra Loop and Harold Drive SE. Nearest road intersection: SE Casandra Loop and Harold Drive SE; Parcel Numbers 4625-000-011-0202 and 352401-4-019-2007
LEAD AGENCY: City of Port Orchard
DETERMINATION: The City of Port Orchard, as lead agency for this proposal, after reviewing a completed environmental checklist and other information on file, has determined that the proposed project does not have a probable adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). Information on file for this proposed project is available to the public on request to the lead agency.
This Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) is issued December 23, 2020 under WAC 197-11-340 and POMC Title 20. The lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date of issue.
Comments must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., on January 6, 2020, 14 days from the date of this notice.
