Notice of Public Hearing

This is a public notice that the City of Port Orchard will conduct a public hearing on the following project:

Applicant: The JWJ Group, LLC, 3599 NW Carlton Street, Silverdale, WA 98383

Date of Application: May 9, 2019

Date of Complete Application: June 12, 2019

Site Description: Location: Southwest corner of the intersection of SE Blueberry Road and Geiger Road SE., Port Orchard. Assessor Parcel Numbers: 022301-4-002-2006 and 022301-4-003-2005

Description of Proposal: The preliminary subdivision of approximately 9.7 acres into 50 residential lots consisting of 30 detached houses and 20 attached houses.

SEPA Threshold Determination: The City of Port Orchard issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance for the proposal on December 23, 2019, consistent with WAC 197-11.

Required Permits: The following local, state, and federal permits/approvals are needed for the proposed project: Preliminary Subdivision, Land Disturbing Activity Permit, Storm Drainage Permit, Capacity Reservation Certificate for water, sewer and transportation, Building Permits

Applicable Code(s): Port Orchard Municipal Code Title 20, WAC 197-11 SEPA Rules.

THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON/AT:

JANUARY 30, 2020, 10:00 AM IN THE ROBERT GEIGER CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS LOCATED AT 216 PROSPECT STREET, PORT ORCHARD, WA

Review of Documents: A copy of the hearing record, including the application and supporting documents, are available for inspection by the public at no cost. A copy of the staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing. Copies will be provided at the requestor’s cost.

Comment Period: Any person may appear and provide public testimony or submit written comment until the close of record by the Hearing Examiner.
