The Port Orchard City Council will hold a public hearing during its regularly-scheduled meeting on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, to take testimony and comment on Ordinance No. 020-19, which was adopted by the City Council on June 11, 2019. This ordinance declares an emergency and provides for a temporary six-month limited moratorium on the acceptance of certain development in the 580 and 660 water zones within the City of Port Orchard. In accordance with RCW 35A.63.220 and 36.70A.390, a public hearing must be held within 60 days of adoption of this emergency ordinance.
