Release of Draft Public Review Plan and Public Hearing:
Bethel Road and Sedgwick Road Corridor Plan
PORT ORCHARD, WA – The City has released the draft Bethel Road and Sedgwick Road Corridor Plan for public review. Bethel Road and Sedgwick Road are the major arterials serving the City’s recently-annexed Bethel-Sedgwick subarea. These roads also provide connections to State Route 16, downtown Port Orchard, the Southworth ferry terminal, and major commercial areas. The Plan is intended to provide long-range development guidance for these two critical transportation corridors.
The City Council will hold a public hearing on the draft Plan on September 25, 2018, at 6:30 pm in the Council Chambers, 3rd floor of City Hall, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard. The draft public review plan can be reviewed at: https://www.cityofportorchard.us/bethelsedgwick-road-corridor-study/. Comments or questions should be submitted to [email protected].
