Interim Self Storage Regulations
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
On April 24, 2018, the Port Orchard City Council approved an interim emergency ordinance to restrict new self-storage facilities to certain areas within the City, and to restrict the number and size of self-storage units that can be built as part of a multifamily development. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the self-storage facilities ordinance, which will incorporate minor revisions during their regularly-scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 6:00 pm, to take public testimony and comment on the proposed permanent ordinance. Any person or public agency expressing an interest is invited to attend the public hearing and/or submit written comments to Community Development on or before 4:30 PM, June 5, 2018.
