SEPA Threshold Determination

The City of Port Orchard has received a land use permit application for the following project that may be of interest to you. You are invited to comment on this proposal.

Project Description:

The applicant has submitted a Land Disturbing Activity Permit application to develop a multifamily housing project consisting of 136 dwelling units on three tax parcels comprising approximately 8.28 acres.

Other improvements will include water service and sanitary sewer service provided by West Sound Utility District, stormwater collection and conveyance, landscaping, surface parking, and other utilities such as telephone and power to support five apartment buildings totaling 124,857 square feet.

Project Location: 2000 SE Sedgwick Road. Approximately 1,000 feet east of the intersection of Bethel Road SE and SE Sedgwick Road in Port Orchard, WA. Parcel Numbers       122301-2-064-2003, 122301-2-053-2006, and 122301-2-063-2004

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:

The City of Port Orchard has reviewed the proposal for probable adverse environmental and expects to issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) for this project. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. Applicable documents are available for review at 720 Prospect Street. Port Orchard, WA 98366.

Agencies, tribes and the public are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed project and its probable environmental impacts. Comments must be received by the date noted above to City of Port Orchard, 216 Prospect Street, Port Orchard, WA 98366
